This was my third session with these ADORABLE kiddos and like always, my camera loved them! The feeling wasn’t mutual for little Charlee, but once she got warmed up there was no stopping the cute expressions she was giving me. Big brother Kingston is a natural born model and always a breeze to photograph. I have a feeling they won’t have any trouble finding Valentine’s. Oh, and if you need a little help getting back in shape after the holidays, their dad is the guy to do it! ๐
Last weekend was THE peak weekend of fall. The leaves on the trees were absolutely BEAUTIFUL and just enough of them had started falling to decorate the ground as well. The weather was pleasant and the sky was blue…and both of my sessions had to reschedule! At first I was very disappointed. Was I going to have to let the most beautiful weekend of the year pass by without shooting? But then I remembered that I desperately needed new photos of my own little people and I had no idea when we were going to be able to make that happen! Lucky me! Now if I can only figure out which images and what sizes I need, maybe we will finally get some things up on our bare walls!
Hurray for more repeat clients (and lots more making their way to the blog in the near future)! This was my 3rd session with these girls and they just keep getting more and more beautiful each session. Mom suggested a location that I hadn’t used because before because I didn’t think the light would be good here, but we were blessed with an overcast day and beautiful fall colors and I was reminded that sometimes taking chances pays off!
I first met Norah last year for a session and she wasn’t really in the mood. Turns out she was coming down with a stomach bug. What’s amazing is that even though she felt cruddy and we didn’t get a lot of smiles, her session and images are in my memory as some of my favorites…she’s just that cute, even when sick. I was so excited to see her again bigger, happier, healthier AND in clothing from my favorite children’s boutique! Clients, when in doubt…Persnickity! I really think this little beauty could be their next model!
This session was bittersweet. Little Hadley turning 1 meant another super-fun and amazing photo session with her, but it also means the end of her Watch Me Grow package. I will miss seeing her and her family every three months, but hope to still get a chance to visit for a session every now and then. ๐ We went all out for her 1 year session and shot it in my favorite location…Missouri Town. It was pretty hot for September and by the time we got to the cake at the end, Hadley was pretty much done with the whole thing, but she was as photogenic as always and we got SO many great shots that it was hard to narrow them down. Happy Birthday Hadley.
