Family “Caboose” Session ~ Wellington, MO

This was a fun little family session at another new place for me (which I always love).  This little Caboose in Wellington, Mo was the perfect place to hang out with this family and get some long-overdue photos.  I’m so glad they were able to talk grandpa into joining in too!

Amazing Wedding at Eagle’s Bluff Ranch~ Waverly, MO

So in love with this wedding and all of the images from it.  I did A LOT of weddings in 2021.  This one was special for a few reasons though.  It was one of my last weddings of the year.  And it was one I booked through Heather Neal Photography.  What does this mean?  I also work as a photographer for a wonderful wedding vendor company and they keep me VERY busy through wedding season.  It’s so much fun and I get all kinds of weddings and opportunities!  These weddings are a little different though because I don’t edit the photos and I work for the company so a lot of the planning happens through them.  So when I am shooting weddings for my own business they are kind of extra special now and I can really let the creative juices flow, envisioning the editing as I shoot.

This couple had a great engagement session and I knew their wedding was going to be beautiful and sweet.  It didn’t disappoint!  Their location was nothing short of amazing and all of the details they chose created the perfect day.  Be sure to check out their first look below.  It’s the sweetest. Also, notice how the guy’s getting-ready room is always full of fun, games (and usually some booze) and the girls always have lots of space and mirrors to get pretty (don’t worry, they had fun too).

Fall Family Session; Lake Jacomo

Another fun extended family session in the books.  My favorite part of family sessions is seeing everyone just enjoy their time together.  I always suggest they go out to eat together or do something fun afterwards.  I know how hard it can be to get everyone together these days!  I also love getting different combinations of people in the group to turn it into several sessions in one!  When there are littles involved like the cute little guy in this session, I am sure to notice when they have had enough and we let them do their own thing a little and come up with some ideas that just feel like we are having fun (but also happen to look good in photos).  😉

Addi ~ Gorgeous Fall Senior Session; Blue Springs and Independence, MO

So Addi isn’t so much doing “Senior Photos” as much as she is doing a whole “Senior Photo Project”.  We are doing a photo shoot for every season of her senior year! This beautiful girl is like a sister to my own daughter (so I had to include her in one photo as well) and is so much fun to photograph.  She and her mom come up with the best visions and all I have to do is show up with my camera and bring them to life.  We always have so much fun!  This is really true of all of my Senior Sessions though which is why they are one of my favorite types of sessions. Senior photos aren’t just about getting great pictures.  The whole process is one of those milestones and memories that every kiddo should get to experience and it should be FUN!  Addi will have lots of memories for sure and no shortage of beautiful photos either!
