Aniayah~ Gymnastics

This session was full of a lot of colored powder, a little photoshop work and tons of fun! When Aniayah and her mom reached out to me about scheduling a session, they mentioned they really wanted to do one with colored powder. I was excited because I have always wanted to try this, but also slightly apprehensive because I wasn’t sure about the logistics of where and how to pull it off. We decided on the studio so I brought some plastic tarps and covered everything I could. It was definitely a learning experience and we learned that there is no such thing as too much powder and also that it should probably be done outdoors or in some type of garage/outbuilding but we got some fun images and had a great time!

Audriana and Lincoln~ Wedding

I was so excited to be back at Milestones Barn for this wedding and equally excited to be working with this couple again. We took their engagement session photos here too and they were so effortlessly gorgeous I just knew the wedding would be the same and it did not disappoint! Not only was it beautiful, but it was so much fun!

Siena and Will~ Wedding

So many things to love about this fun and gorgeous wedding. I loved that they incorporated a game element that was personal to them in the them. I loved that it was at one of my favorite locations, not only for weddings but I am often here shooting High School Seniors, Family photos, Maternity session, engagement sessions and I have even shot staff photos for an orthodontic office here! Most of all, I loved how much this couple loved each other and how excited they were to start their forever together!

Allie Turns 1!

I have had the pleasure of working with little Allie a few times since her parents purchased a “Watch Me Grow” package. She was one of the first babies to have a session in the studio for her 6 month session shortly after I got moved in and then just like that…she turned 1! It’s crazy how little ones make you realize how fast time flies! She is just too much cuteness in one little package. I can’t get over her little wrinkled nose grin or her tiny piggy tail!

Huxtable Engagement

I loved this session from the moment I started editing it, but maybe appreciate it even more looking back on all of that lush greenery. It’s easy to take that for granted in the middle of summer, but now that everything is gray and brown, it sure does make you more grateful for the beauty of summer. This couple was so easy to work with and I just love how their session turned out and am totally excited for their wedding! Also…Go Chiefs!
