I didn’t have a huge turnout for Valentine’s Mini Sessions this year, but I did have a couple of cuties come to visit and we had so much fun! Not only did they leave with some adorable Valentine’s Photos for a ridiculously good price, but they also got a box of chocolates so I would say this was time well spent! Did you miss out? Be on the lookout for future mini sessions coming soon!
This session has been in the works for a long time. Jayden’s (one of the cheerleaders) mom and I are good friends and she showed me an inspiration photo for this idea a long time ago. I was so nervous to cut and tear the paper and figure out how to make everything look just right, but I think it turned out so great! It doesn’t hurt when you have gorgeous models of course! I think these “torn paper” sessions would be so much fun for all kinds of occasions!
I have been busy this winter and LOVE it! Even more fun is the fact that not only are clients scheduling studio sessions, but I am still getting clients who want to get out “on location” this winter!
There is no specific answer when people ask me what my “dream client” would look like. As a matter of fact I don’t usually know the answer to that question until I show up to a session and there they are. I can tell you it almost always involves someone who is creative in some way though, so when Karinton said she was wearing her “Senior jeans” that she painted herself, I knew she would fit into the category (and it didn’t hurt that she was a beautiful and super photogenic girl!). Even better she was so sweet and fun. Karinton plans to major in Criminal Justice in college and I just know her future is very bright!
I absolutely LOVE that Hope and Nathan reached out to have couples photos done after 3 years of marriage! I wish more couples would do this! Whenever I have family sessions I sneak a few of JUST mom and dad because couples almost NEVER get photos of just the two of them after their wedding day so I think it’s great that this gorgeous couple is an exception!
Winter Sessions in the Midwest can be challenging, especially with sub-zero temps, but this one was a breeze and SO MUCH FUN! They came dressed to the nines and made our time at Union Station feel like a step back in time to a young couple getting ready to take a romantic train ride. The results were amazing!
I had so much fun capturing some “school photos” for this little beauty! She is a homeschooler and a dancer and mom didn’t have photos for either! This got us thinking and I would love to provide “School Photos” for homeschool students (or those of us who didn’t love their kiddos actual school photos) regularly! Be on the lookout for an announcement!!!
