I guess you could say I know quite a few gymnasts. That makes me pretty lucky because they are some of the coolest people out there. It takes a lot to be competitive at gymnastics. Hard work, dedication, strength and determination. Liberty has all of those things which explains how she snagged a full athletic scholarship to Arizona State University where she will compete for their gymnastics team. Not only is she athletic but she is also a hard worker in the classroom and I know she will go on to do great things far after her time on the gym floor is over.
A few more fun facts about this session…Liberty has two older sisters (one joined her for a few shots of their matching tattoos) and I also took their senior photos and remember thinking how Liberty would be the last one someday. Someday came so much faster than I thought it would though! Also…see that bridge she is sitting on in one of the photos? I was standing on that bridge when my flash decided to fall off of my camera and bounce a couple of times before landing about an inch away from the ledge! Small heart attack, but both myself and my flash survived.
