Blue Springs, Mo. Family Photographer: The “R” Family

I love family sessions! This sweet mini session seriously took me back to when my littles were actually little. They were about the same distance apart in age as my daughter and son and just as I was thinking it didn’t seem like that long ago that I was taking photos of my own kids at this age, I noticed that this darling little girl had the same boots on that my daughter wore in that very photos session! Kinda choked me up and also made me realize I would have never remembered those boots or so many other little details and memories if it weren’t for photos. What a great reminder for how important the work I do is! I hope this family cherishes these photos for many years to come!2020-11-01_0011.jpg

Kansas City High School Senior Photographer: Nora

Finally catching up a little bit now that a very busy fall season is starting to wind down. The good thing about getting a little behind is getting to go back and remember beautiful and fun sessions like Nora’s. We were able to fit 3 awesome Kansas City locations into her session: Loose Park, West Bottoms and the Crossroads. Nora attends Louisburg High and is in Band, FFA and FBLA. She is interested in pursuing Business Management at Emporia. I had such a great time with her and her mom and even found some new favorite spots in locations I frequently use!2020-11-01_0001.jpg

High School Senior Photography: Kara

I think it’s safe to say that 2020 hasn’t delivered a whole lot of good stuff but that is definitely not the case when it comes to my High School Senior clients. I kind of hit the jackpot with some amazing and gorgeous seniors! If you are having deja vu it’s because this session was my second one involving an Olympic Hopeful for the 2021 games! On balance beam, Kara is the 2018 Pan American and 2019 Pan American Games champion and a two-time United States national silver medalist (2018, 2019). On floor exercise, she is the 2019 Pan American Games silver medalist and the 2018 Pan American bronze medalist. She was a member of the American teams that won gold at the 2018 and 2019 World Championships, the 2019 Pan American Games, and the 2018 Pan American Championships. Kara is interested in Engineering and this fall she is signing to continue her studies and gymnastics with the University of Utah! She currently is training at Gage Gymnastics in Blue Springs along side Leanne (previous senior session…check it out) and my very own gymnast, Marissa.

Blue Springs, Mo High School Senior Photography: Grace

Ok, so Grace is gorgeous. I am having a hard time with the idea that she is a senior though. Her mama is a friend of mine and Grace is her youngest but definitely not a baby anymore. It’s crazy how watching kidddos grow up makes time pass so quickly. Grace is a varsity cheerleader and is interested in going into the medical field (but I think she could be a model too). Her family moved back up to Minnesota a while back so it was wonderful to get to see them for this quick visit and photo session!2020-09-29_0002.jpg

High School Senior Photography: Leanne W

It’s been a while since I have blogged a session even though I have been very busy. Getting caught up starting with this amazing session. This beautiful girl is a gymnast at Gage where my daughter also trains. She is a member of the United States’ women’s national gymnastics team. She was the 2018 national Junior all-around champion, and was a member of the team that won gold at the 2019 Pan American Games! She is also a strong Olympic hopeful for the 2021 games! Leanne just turned 17 and has such an amazing and bright future ahead of her! I can’t wait to watch it all unfold! She also has an amazing family that we snuck a few shots of as well.2020-09-21_0001.jpg
