About a year and a half ago I met this wonderful couple and since then I have watched them go from two people in love to a family of four. As their family has grown, their love obviously has too. Little Nora was the perfect newborn for her session and I had so much fun getting to snuggle and love on her between shots. I don’t often get a chance to do sibling newborn sessions so close together so I had to dig through my archives to find a shot of big brother to compare side by side in the last images you see here. So sweet.

It has been a little while since I have had a newborn session and even longer since I had a GIRL newborn so I was so excited for Lyla’s session. I have to mention how much I love her name too…it was actually the girl name I had picked out when I was pregnant with my son! Lyla decided to be a big girl and sleep through the night before her photo session. She was also asleep when I arrived, but after getting changed and eating she had other plans. Soooo we went to plan B (which is often the case with newborn sessions) and took a few family shots, some of her handsome big brother, and some adorable detail shots of bitty newborn parts that didn’t need to be sleepy…who can resist baby toes?Finally she fell asleep and I got these…
Unfortunately it wasn’t that DEEP newborn sleep that photographers patiently wait for so when I went to change her set-up she decided she was ready to party again.Finally, much…much later she crashed and these happened. 🙂 What a little beauty. <3

Little Graham arrived at the studio fast asleep and pretty much stayed that way through his entire session. The perfect model. He is just so sweet and adorable and even came up with several poses all on his own. I think I see the cover of GQ in his future. 😉
