Oh my goodness! My wedding season is in full swing and I’m up to my eyeballs in wedding photos and LOVING it! It’s hard work having weddings three weekends in a row, but so much fun to see how individual and unique each one is and thi one was a great way to kick it all off! This was a BIG wedding. Just wait until you see the wedding party! There is also a shot that I took in the rearview mirror on the way from the wedding to the reception. For a second I was wondering why there was so much traffic and then I realized everyone I was passing was all dressed up and it was all of the guests!
My favorite things from this wedding:
1) The wedding party. Like I said…it was big. Much bigger than any wedding party I had ever shot, but it was fun!
2) The ribbon exit. I loved the waving ribbons as the bride and groom left the church. It was so pretty and no mess!
3) The best man speech. Oh my goodness…one of the funniest I’ve heard. (And I’ve heard a few). 😉
4) The bouquet toss. These girls meant business and it made for GREAT photos!
5) The shoe game. This is such a fun idea and variation of all of the “regular” reception activities. The bride and groom each hold one of each of their shoes and the DJ asked questions like…”who is the worst driver?” etc. and they held up the shoe belonging to their answer. Lots of laughs!
6) The dancing! The guests at this wedding didn’t waste any time getting right down to business on the dance floor and I had to laugh while I was editing because I could tell what songs were playing during each photo because of the dance moves.
