Baby Cash

Story time! In 1997, a year after moving to Kansas City, I started working for an Orthodontist in Lee’s Summit. I was so fortunate to meet a wonderful group of ladies who became not only my co-workers and friends, but also like family since I had moved far from home. One of these ladies had an adorable baby boy who I watched grow up through the years. This weekend I was so honored to take some newborn photos of HIS adorable baby boy and beautiful little family. While it makes me feel pretty old, it’s worth it to get to catch up with old friends and capture these precious memories for them.

Valentine’s Day Minis

I didn’t have a huge turnout for Valentine’s Mini Sessions this year, but I did have a couple of cuties come to visit and we had so much fun! Not only did they leave with some adorable Valentine’s Photos for a ridiculously good price, but they also got a box of chocolates so I would say this was time well spent! Did you miss out? Be on the lookout for future mini sessions coming soon!

BSSHS Cheerleaders!

This session has been in the works for a long time. Jayden’s (one of the cheerleaders) mom and I are good friends and she showed me an inspiration photo for this idea a long time ago. I was so nervous to cut and tear the paper and figure out how to make everything look just right, but I think it turned out so great! It doesn’t hurt when you have gorgeous models of course! I think these “torn paper” sessions would be so much fun for all kinds of occasions!

(Better Than) School Photos!!

I had so much fun capturing some “school photos” for this little beauty! She is a homeschooler and a dancer and mom didn’t have photos for either! This got us thinking and I would love to provide “School Photos” for homeschool students (or those of us who didn’t love their kiddos actual school photos) regularly! Be on the lookout for an announcement!!!

Sibling Studio Session

There’s no bad time to update those frames and get some new photos of your kiddos. They grow and change SOOO quickly! I had so much fun with these three visiting the studio for some sibling photos. I snuck in a few props for the SENIOR as well. We already took her official Senior Photos outdoors in the fall, but figured we might as well give her some studio options too.
