It’s getting close! This is the absolute BEST thing about my job! Meeting a couple for their engagement session and then following their story and capturing all of the amazing moments along the way. This was a maternity session but also was the couple’s 3 year anniversary which made me realize it had been a little over 3 years since I first met them. I absolutely cannot wait to meet little Owen! I know that he is going to be one adorable and very loved little guy!
Whew, keeping sessions a secret until announcements are made and then remembering to post them and share the adorableness is hard work. Luckily with clients this cute, the actual sessions are not (well, other than the crazy heat we had to endure). Can’t wait to meet this baby BOY!
When I received the news that there was a baby on the way for this wonderful couple I literally squealed. I have worked with them several times before and not only are they always a pleasure to photograph, but Stephanie has wonderful ideas and not only brings her own props…she makes them herself! Talk about a photographer’s dream! Mostly though, I was excited that I would get to see them frequently to capture the many milestones of this wonderful journey that they are now on. This is one lucky baby! Can’t wait to meet you little one!
One of the most fun things about my job is I am often one of the first people to get big news! I love it when I get an e-mail or phone call from a previous (or new) client telling me they have a new, exciting milestone in their lives and am so honored that they want me to capture it for them. I was so happy to hear from this couple when they let me know that they were expecting and wanted to do a little “reveal session”. I shot their wedding a while back and it was so much fun so I knew this session would be too. I think this little girl is going to get a whole lot of love.
It’s finally Spring! Words can’t quite express how happy I am to be back outside doing what I love the most…shooting in the great outdoors! This is like the beginning of my business year after a long, cold winter and what an adorable couple to start it off with! I can just tell they are going to be such great parents and this is going to be one lucky (and by the looks of her shoes…stylish) little girl!
