Blue Springs, Mo High School Senior Photographer: Dylan

I absolutely love shooting High School Senior boys. Girls are great for all of the obvious reasons…most have had years of practice taking selfies, they know how to pose, they have multiple outfits planned and often have fun props. Usually they have been planning things out for a while and are excited about having photos taken and look forward to it. But the guys are sometimes a different story, and that can lead to a fun challenge for me. I love watching a high school guy go from not really being into photos to having a little fun and even coming up with ideas and poses.

I’ve known Dylan since he was just a little guy and it’s so hard to believe he is about to graduate from High School! While he may not have been as “into” getting senior photos taken and didn’t have a bunch of outfits, etc. as some of my girl clients, he knew what he wanted; his dog Zeus and football, so that’s what we focused on. Dylan will be continuing his football career at Westminster College next year! What a privelege to be a part of capturing this time in his life and creating these memories before he leaves the nest…even if we made mama cry. 😉
