This session was bittersweet. Little Hadley turning 1 meant another super-fun and amazing photo session with her, but it also means the end of her Watch Me Grow package. I will miss seeing her and her family every three months, but hope to still get a chance to visit for a session every now and then. ๐ We went all out for her 1 year session and shot it in my favorite location…Missouri Town. It was pretty hot for September and by the time we got to the cake at the end, Hadley was pretty much done with the whole thing, but she was as photogenic as always and we got SO many great shots that it was hard to narrow them down. Happy Birthday Hadley.
Oh. My. Goodness. This was a dream session. Amanda put so much thought into this session with her adorable little girl and it shows! It was “tea party” inspired and the girls both had their hair done for the occasion and came in their lace and pearls ready for tea. Little Haddley was full of spunk and personality and even invited me to come play with them at the park when we were done shooting. ๐ The only thing hard about this session was deciding which images to share on the blog!
This session was just what I needed. I spent most of the summer in the process of selling our house and buying a new one and had to cut way back on sessions. This was the first one I had in a while and it felt great to be back out shooting. It didn’t hurt that this cool kiddo and his equally cool grandma were so much fun (and super photogenic too)!
