Although I have been a photographer for well over a decade, this year has been a huge year for growth for me as a photographer and for my photography business. One of the things that I’ve learned was that I really enjoy taking a more “photojournalistic” approach to weddings which means focusing more on capturing the moments in a beautiful way rather than spending a lot of time setting up “perfect poses”. This blends perfectly with my desire to allow couples to enjoy their day and not have it all centered around the photos. I had zero fears when it came to how gorgeous Ally and Will’s wedding would be and now easy it would be to just capture their day and get gorgeous results. We had a little trial run already at their venue for their engagement session and I knew that it was breathtaking and that the camera loved them and that they were very relaxed and natural together in front of it. Just as expected, the day…and their photos were both amazing.
